Metal Slug X censored blood?

So I am new to owning a cab, and I just got a copy of Metal Slug X. Unfortunately, the blood is clear and not red; is there a setting on the cab to fix this, or is this a bad sign as in boot?

Go into the test menu and select Metal Slug X. Scroll through the options and you'll find a blood color toggle. As for checking for a boot, open it up and compare pics on this site from the boot or no boot section. Otherwise share some pics for others opinions.

Next? Talk to Razoola and pick up a uni bios

Flip dip 1 on your board, power it on, go to soft dips -> metal slug x, scroll down to blood and change it to red. Press c a couple times to exit. Flip dip 1 off.
