Anyone know where I can get a replacement cd drive for my NeoCD as its packed in.

Not sure about the drive mechanism, but I did find a source for a replacement laser about three years ago.

Unfortunately it turned out that, after much difficulty replacing it, the laser wasn't the problem in my Japanese system. frown

When I turn on the system the cd drive makes a clicking noise, but the disc with not turn!

Could this be anything other than the cd drive?

Is it a frontloader? If so, your laser assembly could be out of wack...

Anyways, on my frontloader, to get it to work, I usually have to hit it on the top about 4 times, really hard.

Kinda weird, but it works.
