It's been doing this for around a year or so.
But recently it's to the point where the image near the top of the screen is flipping and bleeding back in on every other line like the resolution is switched too tall.
It's a six-year-old Sylvania w/VCR deck built in.
No clue as to the Model Number.
Would this be a common problem to adjust by internal pots?
Or just a sign that my TV may finally up and die?
I hope it doesn't die. So many VHS tapes around here still.
Anyway... Other things:
It does this right from power-on. Turning the set off doesn't reset the problem.
I know the photo looks like there's a ton of lines.
But it's only about the top 1/8th of the screen that does this.
The other 7/8ths looks fine.
Helpful solutions are welcome.
If I have to take the set apart, so be it.
But I'm not discharging the sucker. I don't want to die trying to fix a six-year-old set.
Thanks.
