So i dont know about many people here, but im truely looking forward to this game. A friend of mine got back from japan a while ago praising this title saying how it was original and unlike other shmups he had played before. Now ive been checking to see when this game is being released in japan and so far Play-asia have a TBA on the date but yesasia have reciently changed their "suggested" release date to December 31...

Now have Konami set a date yet? Or are these import sites just making up dates?

Konami's site still doesn't have a release date listed. I'd say YesAsia's date is just a guess on their part.

I already have mine preordered at P-A. I hope they include the preorder items (set of 6 character badges and a code card for one of the DLC items).

I'm very eager to hear a final release date for this game. It's always nice to have a horizontal shooter to mix up all of the vertical shmups, especially one that looks like Otomedius. It looks very enjoyable with bright colors, varied backgrounds, and fun characters. I hope it's not too long of a wait.

Can this game be played without the special stick w/touch screen? If so, how does it work?
