Whats the biggest sacrafice you've made for Neo Geo?

Well... we are collectors of the finest of the fine. As ALL of us know, Neo Geo isn't a 5 cent loli-pop. Some very saught after games on the AES can reach 1000 dollars. (Att: Metal Slug 1 [Eng]) Please list what your biggest sacrifice was to get money to buy something.
For me, I skipped a trip to FUCKING BELGIUM to work at my job and get the extra $100 for my Neo CD....god that would've been fun. But now I'm having fun with Neo Geo <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Shapermc, hang in there. You can make it. Just bear in mind how much money you can save for the love of the NG game. Besides, a better health will come along with more purchasing power as long as your love of the NG game is stronger than the love of nicotine. As for me, the sacrifice I have to make is to give up part of my time and sleep in order to play the game. This is monetary loss to me.

Hang in there bud. Two things, first the less you smoke the longer you'll live to enjoy the neo and have more money to buy games. Second, the longer you go without cigs, the less your body will crave them. Keep at it man.

As a current sacrifice, I am losing sleep and energy. I work overtime way to much. I am saving for an AES and MS3. I want to give up... its so hard. I sold LB2 and SS4 just to eat... I sold my NGPC and 3 games to pay rent. Things are getting better... a new job is in store. But now, shit is rough. <IMG SRC="smilies/crying.gif" border="0">

I put off getting a tattoo done to get some home carts,beleave me that is tougher than it sounds <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0"> as for quitting smoking you need strong willpower for that,i tried that and nearly smashed my system up, you get real agitated youll be like this all the time

I'm planning to buy MS3 and MOW, when I go back home. $250 is enough for each of them in my hometown and AES 2nd hand jap is about $80, I can ship any of these for you, if you want..so work hard and when you get enough money, mail me between late july and August...

Every time when I go back for summer vacation, I buy tones of game softs and distribute to my friends in UK.. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I drove about 350-400 miles to pick up my Neo 4-slot 2 states away. That is, for the most part, the largest "sarafice" I have made for the neo.

Back in the day. Before we could find stuff on the internet,
I spent weeks hunting down a copy of Viewpoint Homecart in Texas.
After locating one on the phone,
I drove all day to go buy it.
The internet sure has made it easier.
