I have last blade 2 on CD, CART, and for the DC. I have noticed that on the CD versions the wavering effect used on the fire level has been taken out. Can even the dreamcast not handle these graphics. I was just wondering what the reason is.

i believe this is because the DC version is just a conversion of the neo-cd.

i have played the LB final on DC and have also noticed that the reslolution has gone up and the charcaters don't look anyway near as nice as the CART version

If it just a neo-cd conversion how come the sound on the DC version is from the CART.

I believe that effect was Cartidge only; it wasn't there in the MVS version of LB2, if I am not mistaken. I only have the cartridge version.

The effect is in the MVS version... just FYI, same thing happened with the port of Last Blade to the PSX (it's terrible) a lot of the nive background effects were gone. Oh well, most likely a memory issue.
