Seriously, what the hell? Why are these things so damn hard to find? I haven't seen one in forever, and everything on ebay/craigslist is everything *but* the v2 4 slot. 
My kingdom for a 4 slot v2 big red!

The reason I want a v2 instead of the v3 is because of the placement of the speakers. I'd much rather have them face down right above the screen than all the way at the top facing out so I have to blast it. At least, I was told that you have to make it louder to compensate for the speaker placement.
I used to own a v3, I know it's not a bad unit and it would kick ass to have what I had growing up again, but idk. Something about it...

Why not just a v1 then if just for the placement.

I can't find that one either. I'd rather have the v2 but anything other than the v3 seems to be impossible to find, at least right now. See, the way it works is like this. If I have the money, what I want is nowhere to be found. If I don't have the money, a guy who bought 20,000 v2 4-slot big reds will have a sale.
