Enthusiasts,

Need advice. I have finally finished my restore and moved on from my 2 Slotter and bought a Capcom impress. However, this machine is ALL Plastic!!!!! So here is my dilemma. The machine has cracks and missing plastic in misc areas. I have read that plastic can be repaired with 'Bondo', or another product that is called Icing or something like that.

I have no experience with either of the aforementioned products, but the advice I would need, is what or how can I fill in the broken pieces of plastic and make it smooth?

Thanks Everyone!!!!!!!!

I would suggest Bondo for the cracks and fiberglass for the big missing parts. Bondo is great stuff: MIX it apply it and wait. Once it's hard, then sand it down to a smooth finish w/ low grit sandpaper. Reapply if needed. I have no idea on fiberglassing but it's good stuff and we use Bondo and fiberglass all the time to repair ATM fascias and other misc parts.
