Back in the mid 90s there was a ratty lil arcade a few blocks from my house, with a Virtual On sitdown cab. Giant robot warfare + two sticks + cockpit = DROOL. Boy did my cousin and I bury some quarters in it :loco:

Sucked when the arcade turned out to be a front for a drug operation... raided for weed, kilos of coke(!) found. :shame: But my love for that cab lived on.

Any owners on these forums?

Was that Virtual On machine bought at the Cherry Hill Arcade auction?

If you can't afford the cabs you can buy the Sega Ages 2500 Virtual On PS2 game for about $30 shipped brand new. Perefect port, plently of two player options (incluing a two TV screen set up) and can run in 480p.

this is one of my all-time favorite arcade games and would love a 2-person sitdown cab.

Dual sitdown, that's the baby. $175, no shit?! I envy you, nice grab. Please don't tell me youre in Reading, MA and I missed a prime crack at one when you sold...... pics?

If I ever were to have a cab dedicated to a single PCB alongside my 4-25, it would def be that. Only contender I can think of is the 2-screen 6-player X-Men, the closest thing you can get to a group sex experience when you're 11... but that cab's food for another thread :D

Dual Harriers?! Man! That's the shit!

I love Virtual ON, I like it a lot, man I have the sticks and everything and if I had the space I will defenately would have the sitdown cab as I have ran into several opportunities to get me one of those, but is to much space to sacrifice for one game, over having more cabs that can play more games. Still though I agree with your choices, Daytona, VO, Space Harrier, Ridge Racer, and Outrun 2 would be sitdown setups I would love to have, and the ultimate sitdown set up After Burner 2, man that cockpit is the shit! Hell I actaully liked Climax and F Zero GP as well, pretty fancy setups.
