Overall Japanese full set is not very difficult to achieve with the exception of 2/3 titles must be clinging to obtain them.
But everyone does not say everything.
American full set is already more difficult, we know that, but there must be others...

I came very close to a complete Euro collection back in 2002, sold half the collection to a guy in Holland so i could buy a flat. Since 2005 i got back into the neo and been busy buying jap titles. Hope to get a full jap collection by summer next year. Just wondered if anyone else in the UK has a complete colection - there must be a few people surely?

Oh really !

It seems timid. Present us your buddy or by PM ! :D

Me too, I know somebody witch own a complete US and Japanese AES collection except U11 and Kizuna.
He owned the MVS, CD and pocket collection too during the NEO GEO years.
A respectable collector but focused on the purchase and resale.

It will be necessary to engage the respective presentations of each.
I didn't say party boy.

I think Tarma had a complete set or was close but I think he sold them all a few years ago. Rot probably has a couple of sets of each.

Indeedy. I was a Quiz Chibi away from a complete Jap collection :crying:

All sold now. I don't have an AES or CD hardware or software left... it started to become an obsession that I hated so needed to get rid. I have a number of portz now for my Jap PS2 which I'm happy with. :)

I may get a cab at some point, simply to be able to play Metal Slug and Metal Slug X properly as no one seems to be able to do a solid port of either title.

I think I can probably guess who Jase is talking about and it ain't Rot. ;)

Although I wouldn't be suprised if Rot has got complete sets.

If someone is aware of the location of a game like Fun Fun Brothers, it should be shared. This community is capable of better than how it went with Ghostlop. A reliable member could purchase it, someone who is good at desoldering could dump it, and everyone could pitch in with donations. That's what we need to do the next time we have another opportunity like Ghostlop.

A group of us did just that with Ghostlop - I even released the ROM to the internet, putting aside my investment.

If you are the one responsible for that, then the community owes you a million thanks.

The thanks goes to Jeff Kurtz for making any of it possible.

And one other piece of info - Shito was in on the buy for spy purposes to try and keep Ghostlop from being dumped - reporting back to HPMAN so he could epoxy the EPROMS.

Jeff obviously had no trouble removing said epoxy.

I'm not trying to be the jukebox hero here, but some didn't want the ROM released - I was even scolded for doing it without the others permission.

I'm glad I did.

Because these games are meant to be played by everyone - not remaining in some greedy bastards collection.

The people who made Ghostlop available to us have my highest respect. I only hope that one day I have the opportunity to help another lost prototype see the light of day.
