nam 1975 - has anyone completed this without cheatin' :)

Just wondering as even if i put difficulty down to bottom in the dips it still batters me on the last boss (i can get there on maybe 3 or 4 continues now must be the hardest game I think i've ever played (even harder than Magician Lord hehe)

If someone has - feel free to gimme pointers *grin*

PS - also does anyone else find the spoken dialogue absolutely charming - it's just fantastically b-movie

Neo Alec has, with 2 players against the boss.

It's not an extremely hard game once you get used to it. Make sure you are taking advantage of the C-button movement.

I've only been able to get to the 2nd or 2rd stage with all 4 credits haha.

that's a full playthrough, the quality kinda sucks but you get insightful commentary to go along with it! ha.

The last boss isn't that hard when you know the pattern. The only problem is that you don't have much time to actually LEARN the pattern. Hold C and press left/right to dash to the side when he fires his guided shot, keep moving slowly towards the corner, then down-left/down-right+C roll through the cannonball explosions. You have to keep repeating this a while and get into a steady rhythm. Be patient.

If you have a memory card, it obviously helps to save on the last level and practice from there. If you're starting from a fresh save, you should be able to amass two extra lives (...I think?) by the time you reach the last boss, provided you don't die. If you can't get up to the last boss without dying, you need more practice anyway.
