Hello every one. Long time no post here for me. I have been running around finding some kick ass arcade deal as of late.

Any way I need a Astro City power supply. Mine took a dump. So does any one got any leads on one or has one for sale plz let me know.
And if some one has a gutted wiring harness from a astro let me know too. I need the connector that goes from the PSU to the jamma harness for the 5v -5v etc.

thanks in advance

What exactly is damaged since I have seen an Astro Power Supply box (with the transfomer and stuffs) and it rather easy to replace the damaged parts.

From what I can tell its a grounding issue. My test and service buttons are not working on the PSU. I hooked up a different switch to a separate ground and it worked. The cab will turn on with out a fuse in the PSU. So the on off switch on it doesn't do anything and I have the use the main power switch on the back to turn on the cab. I know this isn't supposed to turn on if there is no fuse in it. The monitor also starts to make a whining noise that super loud and annoying. I know that this is usually caused by a grounding issue. The monitor's power hooks directly to the PSU with a dedicated connection. I opened the PSU and i didn't see any bad caps or resisters. Every thing looked clean and good. I checked the main power junctions from the back to PSU and everything is fine nothing is broken. Also the speakers have some popping and noise issues so i think the sound amp isn't really working in the PSU either.

So what should I look for on the PSU? Is there any one who can repair these?

Why not just rewire the whole cabinet with new wiring? that is what I do when I got my new cabinet. Most operator don't give a shit, as long as it work, they sell it or put it out.
