What size is that? I have a 13" Sony, case style looks just like that and it plays perfectly with all of my vertical PCB including Ketsui.

just degauss it

Hahaha what he said.

Degause, degause, degause. If you can, change the purity level if some of the magnetic interferance doesn't go away even with multiple degauses. But I doubt you'll be able to change the purity level on that monitor. Unless you have some way of getting into the service menu.

It's a 27", seriously miffed my neck getting it up there like that.

Actually not Color-F'd because of the TV, but because I'm using a NeoBitz. PGM has issues with that unless you use Component, figured it might work here because the TV only has S-Video but I guess I'm out of luck.

Played through Level 1 just fine, then turned it off to remove attenuation (att-circuit blows out PGM sound as well). When I turned it back on, I had sound but it started resetting after a 20seconds of play. Figured screw it.. waiting for my back/neck to heal up before taking the setup down.

Does have wanting a 29" Cab (probably an Egret 2) though. So unbelievawesome playing shooters with your face right up against a giant screen. Don't think the Cute is going to cut it for this game.

Yes, from testing the Neobitz in a D-lite supergun I remember hardly any, if any, JAMMA games worked with S-Video, but they all worked with component. I tested well over 100 PCBs... maybe upwards of 200 as time went on.

I hope this doesn't mean gloom and doom for your setup (if you won't have component). Have you S-video experiences been any different than mine?

By the way, you should let your TV rest for 30-40 minutes before you put it turn it on its side. Then you won't get the crazy colors. The sooner you turn it on its side after recently being turned on/off the worse your color issues will be.

Yeah, for the most part Component is the only way to go. Would consider buying a JROK one, but I do have a cab coming to me. More of just wanting to play the board before the DS Port comes out.

That TV actually hasn't been used in about 3 years (was downstairs in the corner) so I figure it was good for sitting around before rotating.

I didn't think it was a port coming out. Is it the full game?

Not for DS, its basically a boss run, which IMO is rad and really all I want to play on the toilet anyways.

The xbox 360 ver. should be a direct port of the full game, and should make many people crazy happy.

get that cabinet wingz. sorry the neo bitz didn't pan out. hopefully your board is safe. i plugged in ibara black label backwards a few weeks ago and it didn't start up for an additional 10 seconds or so. I swear my heart stopped beating.

how can you not identify the wires for proper orientation?

how can you have an edge connector that isnt keyed?

I never said that, but if my Aero City had a keyed connector, I would not be able to play a few of my boards.

Keying is helpful, but not necessary as long as you are careful with your boards.

I say key it.....

You can use a removable key with most harnesses... For the few times that you don't want a key.

Or if you have an unremovable key (I sometimes Solder Blob mine.), Get a Edge COnnector and a 2 way fingerboard...... Makes a nice adapter for those few times....

If I'm careful with my boards why bother... There is no benefit...

Nobody else plugs PCBs into my cab.

I have an old 13" with a built-in VCR that flips vertical just fine with no picture problems.

Ditch the Neobitz for a Jrok. I can't believe anyone still has those in superguns.
