FS: Neo Candy 29 in Dallas, TX

Trying to unload this locally at the moment, if no takers I might ship.

Neo Candy 29, monitor looks great no burn-in at all. Wired for 6 buttons and includes a CPS2 kick harness already wired in. Brand new Sanwa sticks and buttons. Side art in pretty good shape. I will help you load it in your van, truck or whatever but an extra set of hands would be helpful so you might want to bring a buddy.

asking $500, I paid more than that before putting work and new parts into it, so not a bad deal considering these are not common around here. Wired for JAMMA, Neo obviously works great. Never had a JAMMA PCB I couldn't play in this thing. I got a new cab and need to clear some space.

For overall clarity - can you tell us how/if the Neo button layout is wired A,B,C,D (since it appears to be wired for 3x3)?

all snk cabs i've ever seen are wired for ABCD. The cab looks like it has 4 over 3 with the A button capped. So to set it up for neo geo, you would just have to put a button in there and your set. I'd probably cap the bottom row while I was at it personally.

Yeah, I see the A is capped - which had me curious if that's how it is or if the buttons had been shifted D button had been moved to button 6.

I admit my interest is only if this is available for shipping, but for anyone else's sake I was wondering what "neo obviously works great" meant if there were only A,B,and C wired. I'm fairly new to cabs, so it might be common to rewire the button positioning for private use. I'm just mincing words and trying to learn something - not picking on someone who obviously knows more about (his) cabs than I do.

That is a damn nice cab. If I had a PGM set up, I would pounce.

Alec nailed it. It's 4 over 3 with "A" capped, as I prefer the capcom style layout. But as Alec said, you could cap the bottom 3 and have a completely normal classic Neo layout.

Reason for mentioning the "neo geo works great" is I didn't want any confusion when I mention its wired for JAMMA. These cabs originally came wired for Neo only, you had to use an adapter to make them JAMMA. This one was just wired straight JAMMA, but [obviously] Neo works fine.
