Corrupted background-Blazing Star

The intro, ship select and all the sprites display fine but the background displays
grey and with some corrupt graphics. The cart has gone back and forth from displaying properly 3 times in about 6 months. The contacts are shiny clean
and I have cleared the RAM. The cart also checks out 100% on the Unibios.
I have tried this bastard in two different 2slot and a 4slot in the last day
with no luck.

Take it apart and clean the connectors on the cart. They may look shiny clean from where you are looking, but you can't see all the sides very well.

While it's apart, look for cracked solder joints on the chips.

Also, I don't believe you can check all the ROMs with the UniBIOS chip. Just the program ones. Razoola can confirm this though.

True. Check for cracked solder joints. I've had 2 BS carts both with cracked joints and had corrupt gfx

I have a blazing star that checks out perfect in uni-bios but has no sound what so ever, so I believe only P roms are checked. But i'd ask Raz to be sure.
