Pachislot problems

well I just got back from a month being out of the country for work. I was excited when I got back since I order 3 pachislots (Fatal Fury, King Of Fighters and Jet Set radio) . I know why JSR, I was a hugh fan of this game on the dreamcast, spent many hours on it, did not like the xbox version as much. Anyway, I had the games delivered to a family members house so I can pick them up when I get back. I drove them over to my house and opened up the boxes only to find this on the SNK slots.




the boxes look ok but for the same damage on both machine I don't know. They were shipped at the same time so the only thing I can think of is in shipping they were on a pallet and someone drove a froklift into something, It would have to hit pretty hard though to punch those out like that since that is metal. the JSR was shipped seperatly.

now I am not going to bash any dealer yet Until I hear back from them on what they will do. Unfortunitly I have a slight problem with time since I have to leave the country again for another month. Fortunitly the reseller (they resale for another site I found out) is located in the same city as me, so in a worse case I could take it to small claims. I hope it does not come to that though, what I would like is if the ship them back and replace them with new (refurbished) machines.

anyway reason for the post. has anyone had any problems with slot shipping before, or with this kind of damage,

Yes, not with slot machine but tabletop machine

1. Mini Mahjong Cabinet. - Apparently a drop damage, ABS casing was cracked on the bottom and LCD screen was cracked.

2. VS City Cabinet. Deep gorges on 1 side of the cabinet, cabinet was not secured with rope while being transported. "legs" was bend. ABS plastic was cracked.

Ohh those holes are for the small joystick knob..

Are they now inside the machine?

I have to say,they would have to take a big hit to be pushed through like that.

Does it look like the sticks could be put back in..

I would have to bang it out, but I do not know, the holes are pretty badly damaged

They emailed me on getting parts so I am waiting to see where this go, I am on another time crunch though since I will be leaving the country again.

Edit: Actually it is plastic not metal. I guess I always thought these were metal for some reason.

Well they are going to replace the machines and send me new ones, know I just need to box them up again.

well I know everyone was waiting on what happen on this........ok maybe not

however I did end up getting replacements and they even gave me the new King of fighters (although probably they did not realze it when they sent it over) mixed feeling on this. I like the look of the new KOF slot but kinda wanted the classic and it will be harder to locate now. oh they added an extra 200 tokens each machine as well.
