CPS3 help - Move to Tech

I just bought a CPS3 off ebay and I want some info on it before I get it up and running.

1) Where can I get the battery replaced at. Is there a member here that does it?

2) How fragile is the security cart? What will make it suicide.

I posted it here because it won't let me make a thread in the tech forum.

I think Mainman does them? (cant remember)

Anyway, make sure you dont play around with the carts connectors. Static on your fingers may well and truly wipe your cart. Just keep touching the carts PCB to a minimum.

Also, the more you keep it on, the longer it will last.

If I was going to get the battery replaced I would get a socket put in so you can easily replace the battery every 3-5 years or so.
