I'm in the process of building my supergun.

I've got two AC lines and GND from my arcade PSU but I want to hook that up to this adaptor/switch/fuse in one thingy.

I won't be using a fuse but how do I hook up the switch?

Like this?

| - AC | - AC

| - GND | - GND

?

You won't be using a fuse?? Are you insane?

You want to wire up the long connector on the left (Active) to one pole of ON and the one on the right (Neutral) to the other. Use the neutral connected to the fuse, not the one connected directly to the IEC plug.

I can always put a fuse in, I figure the fuse in the PSU itself will save me from any problems coming from the wall. Much the same as my ATX PSU in my PC.

Correct me If i'm wrong.

I wouldn't trust the protection circuits in arcade power supplies (especially the cheaper ones) as far as I could throw them.

For the sake of 30 cents or so, itd be absolutely ridiculous to not make use of the fuse holder in that unit. Plus who says any AC power problems will even involve the power supply? Someone could touch bare wiring for example.

Better to be safe than sorry when working with 240v.
