I like the big slappy controller as well for fighting games. I just hate when your fighting and the person you are playing against hits the damn select button on accident and pauses the game. The "bean" controller you don't have to worry about that.Though it does have a real nice feel to it. Over all I go with the big controller because you can rest your hands on it when you are kicking some ass....

I've really gotten used to the Neo CD joystick although the base should be heavier. It seems to be a bit more precise. That's probably cause my arcade sticks are way old though.

On occasion, I use the Neo CD pads, but don't tell anyone.

when i first bought my neo home system it came with an old joystick and a control pad, for some werd reason i like the control pad better. a kinda off topic question. is the ball of the joystick supposed to have little cracks on it cause i noticed them and the person whom i bought the neo from said they are all like that from the factory

I agree with DJBOMBERMAN. The old slappy stick does kick ass but that pausing really gets annoying. I did however get used to the newer style stick.

I think the cracks are an age thing -mine have them too and I've always been good to my systems.

Kyoisthekof,

I love my MAS stick too! I will not play my Neo with anything else besides it. I've got a black one that is cool as hell, sleek, and beautiful. Almost as much as my Girlfriend, ALMOST! hehe

I would have to say I like the Sticks on the average, but I like the pads on Metal Slug games. It just controls a little better, IMHO.

The Big 'ole square arcade joysticks. When I first saw them back in '90 I thought they were bigger than a Genesis or Super Nintendo console.

My favorite Controller

Why it's Big Bruno's Delux Special Fighter Big Tymer Power Stick. Actually I bought this Neo Rip Off joystick in a yahoo auction and after being disgusted with it's preformance I Rip out all the sub standard parts that were used and replaced it with New arcade cab Parts. So it is kinda like a mas stick except it is in a smaller and lighter joystick case.

the buttones that used to be on it are the ones you see for start, select and the super secret reset button in the top right So I can pull..."I do not Know why the system reset, you were winning though but I was going to make a come back

"

I have not got around to labeling the buttons yet. I just pluged the 2 holes (it was a street fighter setup)

Its the big slappy controller for me. I have noticed the problem of hitting the pause button during a game, it gets kind of annoying!
The smaller controller just seams to light, and the CD pad sucks for fighting games!
As original controllers become harder to find, someday I may find myself rocking on one of the little CD bitch pads!!!!!
Hopefully that day will never come!
