As you all know this year we got frustrating news that Microsoft rejected Cave arcade games from Live Arcade.

With global and friends-only scoring system xbox360 could become a must-have for all Cave fans. But who is responsible for this crazy rejecting? Now we got a name!

Yeah - this is THE MAN who is incompetent enough to call Cave games "faithless arcade ports". The best thing is that he has a blog. I am not asking to decline word "f*ck" in comments but we can comment and mail him to death or force him to reconsider. Maybe someday he will understand that there are a lot of fans and this games must exist with HD graphics as a downloadable content of XBLA.

I'd rather buy hard copies of the cave shooters anyways. Now if only they would bring them to the US so I didn't have to buy another 360 just to do so.

Yeah, I can agree with that but I can say two things:

1) Ok so we got Black Labels of two great games but how about ESP Ra De, Progears, DonPachi, ESP Galuda, Mushihimesama and other old arcades? There is no way they are going to retail them!

2) Japan games are never region free and we can wait forever for Atlus to publish them.

I second the notion on having a hardcopy of Cave games. I'm okay with download games but I still want physical media for somethings.

Assuming you're still talking about 360 games, you shouldn't say 'never'. Are they 'usually' region free? No. Are they 'never' region free? No as well.

Lost Planet, Soul Calibur IV, PGR 4 and Halo 3 are all region free Japan releases. I'm sure there are more, that's what I came up with with 10 seconds worth of googling.

That said, there's no guarantee that a Japan release would be region free, but we don't need a US release.

Even if there's not a US release, an Asia area release would be a good possibility and a higher percentage of Asian titles are region free as well (top of my head would be Gears of War, Saints Row, Civ Rev, Ninja Gaiden II, any Lego game and I believe Too Human).

Now I could be off on a title here or there but... point is. 'Never' is an incorrect statement.

I think it's because the 360 lacks the GPU processing power to keep up with the Cave shooters.
