A better way to leave feedback?

frustrates me too. I don't like the fact you have to leave it on a thread that's less than 30 days. It's clunky and unweildy. A shitty feature.

Under the trader ratings fly-down I'm sure many of those options don't get used.

Trader Ratings->leave feedback->(enter member name and link)

Multiple ways to leave feedback would be great, too (from trader ratings main page, members page, User CP, a button in the feedback/market forums).

Also, a search field on the member list page would be nice.

I just remembered how to leave feedback (for future reference/searches):

1) Go to the market forum
2) Find a post by the member you dealt with
3) Click on their trader rating number
4) Click on the "Submit Feedback For [Member Name]" link

I think this should be streamlined as well. You only see a person's feedback if they post in the Market and you can't even get to it by going to their user profile.

I'd actually suggest formally adopting Heatware.com as a feedback vehicle. It's a site that provides cross-forum feedback ratings. This would help to make sure that you aren't getting trolls from other boards. It also ensures that if the boards are migrated to a different software solution tomorrow, the feedback data isn't lost.

See the link in my sig for an example (most of my trading has been on Anandtech and 2CPU).
