Are Capcom Q25's extremely rare or something?

I've never seen one pop up on the internet, and I've been looking for a while now. Any info on them?

I need a candy cab to throw my Naomi set up in, and the Q25 looks the most appealing to me.

They aren't exactly common, but there was a East Coast cab order that was chock full of them

uncommon is very true. I was the one who did the east coast order that had them. Only 10 Q25's were sold. Prior to that I only knew of 5 Q25's located in the states and I own 2 of them. so there may be 15-20 in the USA in total.

A truely spectacular cab though my personal fav!

I keep a searchin' for a candy naomi / capcom cabinet on the east coast and still can't find anything! I can't complain too much though, I found three six slot neo's for cheap and a MVU-4 25 for cheap as well. I really want a couple of capcom / naomi candys since I have a few naomi games I'd like to set up.

Any advice?

Edit: I just saw the thread you were talking about, damn I wish I was looking back then.. I would have picked up two in a heartbeat.

Doing another buy any time soon?

imho your better off with a machine with a 29 inch monitor if you plan to run naomi. you'd probably be best off with a machine capable of running hi rez images since thats what naomi natively outputs. those can get pretty pricey though so its up to you. that said, i would not recommend removing an original working chassis to intall a wei ya trisync if you should chose to go with a cabinet with a lo res monitor.

Problem is, after almost 3 years of searching, I've never seen a naomi come around my area.

I've had the motherboard, jamma, power supply, GD-Rom drive, and 5 games for about 2 years now as well.

I'd love a twin pair of naomis, but finding one is almost impossible in the DC area.

The first time I bought jap cabs from Arcade Infinity I saw a couple in his warehouse. Since I was getting my first cabs, I wanted ones that were 29 inchers. But yeah they're not as common. Probably because most people that import, want a bigger screen.

As for the minicutes and neo19's, they're too much of an interesting novelty to pass up. The middle monitor size child is often overlooked. :lolz:
