I just saw from Arcsystemworks US division, AKSYS games, they will be selling an ENGLISH localized version of BlazBlue (from the team that worked on Hokuto No Ken and Guilty Gear series)!

The game runs off a Taito Type X2 arcade board. If people are interested you can buy it directly from Arc for about $3300. Contact coinop@aksysgames.com to set it up.

I contacted them and they notified me that it will come out the same time the Japanese game is launched.

Man, that game has loads of eye candy.

3300, I take it that is just for the X2 setup without a cab?

it looks exactly like a guitly gear sequel but with different guys.

except the gg cast is so forgettable that it might as well be the same thing.

it even sounds exactly the same.

the stages and effects look pretty cool though.

id love an x2, but with the way its going, the ports are coming too soon with more features. i could just throw my xbox in a viewlix.

Yeah no shit, Battle Fantasia on PS3 actually looks BETTER than on the TypeX2 (!). I think arcade hardware has more or less outlived its usefulness this way. They should keep the arcade games exclusive.

Oh and blazblue looks a bit over the top. With all that shit going on why did they even bother drawing backgrounds? I dont even see them most of the time with all that lightning crap.
