Creating a PC Engine Extension Cable

I need this badly, the cords are so short it is ridiculous. I have tried a mouse extension cable but there is plastic block "blocking" the end you need to place into the PC engine. Any suggestions?

i use a mac serial extension cable (or was it a modem cable?) eitherway, go somewhere that sells mac stuff, and check out extension cables there.....

Well, if there's a plastic blocking the way, just take a knife and remove it... That's how I used a PC controller extension cable to fit in the deeper Neo control ports.

i don't think the mouse extension cable has enough pins for a duo pad to use.

Yeah, I cut out the plastic block but it is then missing a pin. Therefore, no "up" was functional. I'll try the Mac one though...Thanks for the help, I'm off to Fry's.
