Sorry for the noobish question but I got a Neo Geo AES system about a year ago (which I am planning to sell with some games) and was wondering how can I notice the difference if its the Jap or USA version?

I ran a copy of Samurai Shodown (English version) and comes out Japanese. As well as a copy of the english version of Fatal Fury 3.

Thanks!

Ah sweet thanks.

What would be a good price to sell these babies for?

On eBay, the cheapest on there is about 375 from what I've seen...

^don't be a kenny boy.

a bare bones homecart system should be retailed for around 200ish euro/dollars.

bundled common games aren't a factor in rising the price.

p.S why not keep the system for yourself, it's a bundle of joy.

As a general rule never base your price on average ebay prices. They may look nice if you're trying to sell but a lot of them don't get sold because people are usually dumbasses or assholes when pricing their auctions.

I would, but I prefer an MVS system over anything. Plus, its been sitting in one of my containers for close to a year catching dust:lolz:

I figure as much lol. I just seen one on there that was selling for 799 cause of the authenticity number was low.

When you decide to sell it make sure you sell the games and the system seperately if you want to maximize your profit. Just offer free shipping of the carts if they win the console, too.

On a related note, is there any difference between a Japan AES system and a USA AES system once they've been completely modded (component inputs, UniBios 2.3, etc.), or do those mods pretty much eliminate any differences?

If there's a Uni bios then the system will be multi regional as you can select the region that you want. There's pretty much no difference in hardware.
