FS:
2 slot Neo Gold cabinet,the wooden one..(works great,has almost new monitor,new sticks-buttons and CP overlay...Black buttons,Classic Electrigrave design

When I bought the machine the guy had just put in a new 19 monitor...(his-wife paasing had to sell machines)

Wood needs some work-was broken into on location..(most covered up)
The bottom has new type corner protectors..I'm pretty sure I have them on all 4 sides.. and the bottom edges have edge protectors that I put on all my cabs..the bottom started to get messed up when sliding the cab around..

2 slot board works..I don't think the mem card readeer works on the board though

Has correct Power supply,wiring..two mini marquee lights light but are very dim(unplugged)

Coin area switch is all original............no plastic coin box..
Top Coin door locks but it's the same key as my other machines so that'll need to be changed
The bottom lock, the rear pats of the coin door lock(the bar and screw) I think fell in the machine..I went to lock the botton one day and noticed they were off..

I had an isssue with the machine that I posted up about in tech..the monitor went fuzzy, found out it's a flaky pot on the monitors adjustment board=the small pcb connected via a wire to the inside side of the cab..not directly on the monitor itself..
So if for some reason the monitor went fuzzy just have to bumb that pot..most likely just needs to be cleaned-I have no time to do it.
I fire up the cab on a regular basis and this doesn't happen..it seems to happen when I bump the pot changing games..

NO MVS GAMES INCLUDED.

...............................

Atari KLAX
Mini Klax cab...Original Galaga cabinet, top marquee under the Klax is still Galaga..lots of bottom of machine parts inside still Galaga
I bought it as converted to MK..found out later it was originally Galaga, but I can't afford to restore it..
very solid-heavy little cabinet..old cabinet
New Klax overlay..

The game works but it could use a monitor as it has it's original 13" in it..

I've had MVS,CPS2,TAITO F3,Misc Jamma boards in this machine..
Got tired of switching it around, made it into a Klax..
Plays well enough for my wife to play it,another reason why I made it KLAX..

BOTH CHEAP!!!!!Make Offer..

I can't deliver them...You'd have to come pick them up"outside" my place on an the evening.(NJ)..I can get both cabs outside..I also can run a wire and turn them on..
Don't want to piss off my landlords too much so once outside NO BSIF YOU OFFER A PRICE AGAIN NO BS,NO HAGGLE Take them AS IS>>

Will add pics when I get a chance

Oh man! This is one sweet cab. The goldie was my very first cab and at first I wasn't sure if this cab was for me, but once I saw it in person it was love at first sight. Everysingle aspect of this cab is superb. The sound travels nice, the controls are very comfortable and the cuts are just perfect, the design on this cab is just great and it has a smaller footprint than the big red series.

Pure class right there, whomever is lucky enough to get this will never regret it, needless to say this is my personal most favorite cab. The thing is that for most of us here in the NG forums this very particular cab was our introduction to the Neo Gold Cabaret.

OK, not sure if I'm helping out, but for what is worth good luck with the sale! Chris1 is one of the greats, but everybody already knows that!

If these don't sell by the end of the week...I'm keeping them with the Neo Gold to be the first to keep..
..I really don't want to sell the Neo Gold..I just need more room for the baby.

Just told my wife..
I'll go put the both of them in my storage bin-Neo gold first..until we move..

Heh, changed your mind on selling it. I'd go for it if my bitch store manager would actually give me the days I request off.

It's still for sale...
$250.00 FIRM...AS IS..No Games...

I just don't want to be thinking about it a month later trying to sell it.I like to sell something, get it gone quick or I start to think about how to keep them..
.
..this week I have the time to move it outside..

Plus I don't want to go Ebaying them..

Next week I'll be getting ready for a race coming up on the 16th and I don't want to pull my back from now all the way to Sept 20th

Figure since I have the time this week might as well move it into storage..but then again I may wait for the time between the 16th and sept 20th..
I really can't afford to mess up my back now..

I also have a terrible back, bringing my red cabinet in didn't make it feel too great after. Though I helped a friend move his gold cabinet, and it wasn't too bad. $250 is a great price, I'll have to really see what I can do about getting time off work to drive down.

Thank you my friend..

Yup,..it's a steal..a super deal..

I mean how much lower can I go...:loco:

I'm surprised I haven't go no PMs..So if I delivered them from NJ to wherever across the country for Free would I get a buyer.

I'm curious as to what someone would want to offer me for these.
$50.00 Shipped..:mr_t:

I thought $200.00 ..$300.00 for Both....if I didn't have to move them maybe...quick sale no BS.....But man $200.00 I might as well stick it up my ass for $200.00..I'd be better off parting the machine out then,
the monitor hasn't been used much, this is my least played machine because of where it is..

Go Figure..Price?

I'd actually love to pick up that cab, and I'd steal it in a heart beat as I'm only a few hours away in the DC area, but my damn minivan stopped just a while back. Its transported 3 big red six slots (different trips obviously), and we just busted it loading bricks.

Damn good price and in great shape from what I can see. Definately worth it too, just wish I could get out there.

Thanks man..
LMK if you want it in the future as once I put it in storage.... it'll still be for sale..

I would just have to have the buyer meet me there early as the place closes early..

Gotta get them ready to be moved.

Yesterday I decided to put the wheels on the little Klax cab...It's a heavy lil sucker..I had wheels on it that could not take it's weight and snapped.
The problem with machine is it needs it's feet replaced as I cut them off for the wheels..but I could not get the plates off..
I just don't have the tools here to do it..

So I put the new wheels on and had to lift the machine up onto the bed.:loco:.Trying to screw screws in the bottom of a cab isn't easy..
I didn't use a drill as to not EXCITE the landlords so I had to press each screw in by hand..in hard wood that shit isn't easy.

I took some pics of the two machines with internal pics of the Klax..
Looks like the monitor could be rotated back to vert.
Still has some old galaga stuff inside not hooked up..has green standard power supply in it..
It's not dirty inside just stained..I cleaned it as best I could and vacuumed it out..it needs to be cleaned via something wet and I'm tooo fn scared to put my hands in the cab with a wet cloth..
Other pic is of the games manual and other spare parts in the coin box.

Yeah that Klax would be a great candidate to restore back to Galaga. It seems those cabarets go for more than the fullsize uprights sometimes. I recommend you post this on the Klov board as well.

The cab looks like it's in great shape, I'm sure a classic game fan would love to have it.
If I wasn't on the opposite side of the country I'd go for it.

Don't you dare. :smirk:

This is one of the best looking cabs. List it for 300 on ebay and it's still a good price.

Ugh, it still hasn't sold yet?!?

Lemme see what I can do, my three six slots need a blond bombshell to play around with. 300.00 is cheap for a machine in that good of condition. It's just freakin' transportation.

If you can get to this area this weekend, the Digital Press event is on Saturday. A lot of retro trading and all around good times. This of it as a bonus to picking up the cab!
