Who can't really afford Neo games but does NEway?

How many of you on here (and I know there are more than a few) who can't afford Neo games, but buy them anyway?

Hell, even though I own my little neo geo store, I still can't afford most of the games I buy <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I'm one of them...

I could't afford to buy kof 2000 but bought it, after selling all of my
other old systems and cds...

Now I'm even considering about selling my jap DC and beloved cds to buy
one of motw,ms3,or next kof.. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

well when I first got into the system I could not afford it.

I worked full time at Target making a big $6 an hour.

so I proceeded to charge up several credit cards since at that time places like electronic bontique where clearencing out thier neo goods.

needles to say it took me until last year to pay all my cards off. But I have not used any for over 5 years now. when you get over $20,000 in credit card dept you kinda learn a lesson <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

anyway all of that was not on the Neo just around $3,000.

now I can afford new games fine as long as I get a month advance notice on thier release. Since I refuse to deal with anymore credit issue except for car and home loans.

oh well it's an addicition, kinda like Anime..

I cant afford Jack Shit! I pawn money off my pals, I owe them all about 100 dollars. Neoing is an expensive hobby, but the best one if one at all.

I have too many consoles that need to be fed: DC, Saturn, PS, PS2, N64....etc....
Don't have much money for Neo. One Neo AES can buy 3 or even 10 DC games.....

Yup, that's why I've been selling off many of my collectible titles from other systems to help support my Neo*Geo "weakness."

Me too. Most of my Neo stuff was bought new as it was released, but I missed quite a few of the best titles. So since getting online for the first time in FEB I have been spending WAY too much time and money getting the games I missed. The thing is they are not making 2D games any more and you really cannot get what the Neo offers on any of the newer console systems especially after the Dreamcast is gone. <IMG SRC="smilies/crying.gif" border="0"> The thing that hurts is now I think AES game prices are at an all time high. <IMG SRC="smilies/eek2.gif" border="0"> So at least as far as the AES goes who CAN really afford Neo games is the question. <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0">

I can't affort AES games, but buy ports, and now finnally MVS! Trough some MVS games are really expensive. Like Silent said, you can easilly buy games for other systems. Like some good SNK ports for much cheaper.

after going nuts with the dc and ps2,i've not enough money to invest in the neogeo set.nevermind,the dc is gonna get MOTW and maybe kof 2000 and ps2 may get kof 2001.i can still play NG games on other consoles.thats good enough.

I was looking at my collection on friday befor I went to work and I was like...
"Hummmmm.... I started collecting in March It's june I have 17 MVS game... Where did the f'n $$$ come from. I know that I am quitting smoking to get more games, but I have more Neo games than N64, and I have had that since it was released???" Oh well, my wife has started bitching about how we can't afford it so in protest I told her I was quiting smoking so I can buy more games.
