No, this isn't another inane "which pushbuttons / joysticks are best?" thread. I'm after some solid info here, not conjecture. wink

I'm about to replace all the buttons on my cab which I'm doing up in a Capcom vs SNK theme. What I want is buttons with blue bezels and yellow plungers on the Capcom side, and buttons with white bezels and light blue plungers on the SNK side. See http://www.happcontrols.com/pushbuttons/539200xx.htm for an exploded view of the ultimate pushbutton if you're not sure what I mean by bezels and plungers.

My question is; is it possible to dissmantle either the competition or ultimate pushbutton to achieve the mix-n-match style I'm looking for? The ultimate pushbutton page has an exploded view which would suggest this is possible, but I'm looking for 100% certain info from someone who has these buttons and maybe even has done exactly what I'm talking about. The competition button doesn't have such a view, suggesting that maybe it isn't possible with those buttons. Does anybody know of any other pushbuttons I could use if what I'm after isn't possible with Happs buttons?

Yes, that should be no problem whatsoever. Just take 'em apart, swap the plungers, put 'em back together.

Yeah I have some of those as well, they come apart with little difficulty. I have no reason to do it but meh.
