I've seen some old threads on yaton6262 that, overall, seem to be favorable. I just won a cart last Sunday and paid for it. Not only have I not heard from him, but eBay reported that the item had been relisted.

Anyone else have any recent issues with this seller?

I don't think I ever got emails from him and it took about a week and a half to get my game. "Usually" working, original board, changed case, and dirty as shit....but cheap enough to make me not care. lol

I'll take it.

Does your price include insurance and command to France?

Usually you won't hear from him...your package will just arrive at your front door or po box.

The only time I ever ordered anything from him it took 2 full weeks to arrive. And I never received any type of confirmation from him that it shipped.

From what I've heard be prepared for a let down and have your disinfectant ready because the carts look like they lived through a hurricane and were buried in a landfill.

Yaton - no communication; slow shipping; dirty dirty carts.

That sums it up.

I stay away personally. Not because you won't get what you paid for, but because it's simply not worth it.

Honestly that was my take from ready previous posts. As long as I get my cart, I'm fine. I don't mind having to clean it. As long as it's an original, I can deal with the other stuff. I'm more about the game than the collectors aspect of it.

Thanks for the input gang.

There's also the fun of finding out what kind of grocery store item box he used to ship your cart. I think when I got a NOS Slug 4 kit from him it was wrapped in a Hershey's chocolate box.

LOL, once I got a cart with no packing in an inside-out folded box of frozen pizza bagel bites :) Game worked and I was happy...but yeah, he's not the best packer either, lol.

he generally has tons of whatever cart he's selling, so you'll almost always see your item as 'relisted.' Give it a little time, more than likely you'll get it. Once, I totally forgot to pay within the 7 days or whatever. I paid him several days later and apologized. Never heard from him, but got my item within the week.

:lolz: at Yaton threads in 2008

I almost made the same mistake as I just got my first MVS board last week. But, at least I searched the older threads before doing so.

I put in two orders with yaton last week, hopefully everything will go smoothly.

I bought from him a few times. I usually get an automated message about how to pay, I pay right away, and I see my order in about two weeks. Then I sit and clean the shit out of the cartridges. They work after cleaning, so don't worry.

Good guy but messed up carts

I have purchased a total of 5 carts from this guy and 4 of them I needed to clean something bad. I did buy a new KOF 2003 off him on the cheap and it was in perfect shape. I did not pay him much for the games so it all worked out in the end. He did replace a busted KOF 99 that he shipped and did send one back overnight express mail.

I received my games in a cinnamon toast crunch box with lots of tape...

I grabbed my first 11 MVS carts from Yaton..Takes him forever to reply, and 5 of the games were dirty! Here's the clincher, Games were packaged in a DIAPER BOX! My wife was like...huh...
That was quite the surprise! The box was turned inside out and taped to all hell! Once we opened it, we seen the little kids smile and the word HUGGIES! Games work fine...after scrubbing and relabeling!
His shockboxes are usually crunched in the corners also :{ Which are the older style box with seperate spline. I have another 7 games coming from him. I hope the kits that he has stated as new...are new!

Yea, if he states something as new, it's definitely new. I got one of those KOF2k3 kits as well, got mine for $25. He sent it shipped in the original box, no packing box or anything, just wrapped in brown paper. It got a little dented and it's the Korean kit, but still a nice score.

I also just picked up one of those SVC Chaos kits he has (brand new), and can't complain. It was shipped with just packing paper over the kit, and everything was in perfect condition (was also a nice perk to get a low serial...)

Is there any difference between the Korean 2003 and the regular one? I used to have a Korean KOF 97, and it was missing a lot of voices.

I ordered some JAMMA adapters to work on some old game boards. They came quickly and were in nice shape.

Strange to get them in shipped in a tiny single serving cereal box though. ;)

Couldn't tell you, to be honest. I haven't played the regular one, nor have I had a chance to put this cart in yet. All the artwork is in Korean, though. And it has the Yaton musty basement smell :)
