How long until I can post a thread?

Dear Noobs,

Spamming up threads with obviously injected zero-relevance garbage is the best way to get people to hate you.. and get summarily ran out of the joint. Posting stupid "positive" comments and then asking "Hey, does anyone know how long it is until I can open a new thread" makes me want to speedbag you and then drop a long skinny in your mouth.
