Questions about Credit Indicator Lights in Marquee

Hello All,

Stumbled upon this site and am hoping to find some answers from you guys...

I purchased a used arcade cabinet that was converted to a Neo Geo cabinet from an old StarGate machine. It came with those really cool credit counters up in the marquee that you only see in old Neo Geo machines.

So, I was wondering, has anyone hooked these up to a MAME arcade machine? Is it possible? If not, what should I do with them? I've got two and they still have the wiring harness and PCB board.
