Case looks AES, yet the cart sticker says MVS, but it doesn't look like the one in the Cart Pics section.

Looks like a crappy yaton reprinted label. I'm pretty sure AOF had a snap lock case, that said, if that case is authentic it's likely an old vinyl box with a high quality reprinted insert.

Yeah its definitely not a snap lock case.

So its definitely an MVS cart then? A bootleg?

Yeah, I'm positive that's an MVS cart you're looking at. The owner probably just didn't have a shockbox so he used an old style AES case instead.

edit: For some reason I swore that case looked more like a regular vinyl when I first looked at it. I'm just being crazy, that's likely just a standard shockbox pictured. That's more than likely not a boot though, AoF3 MVS isn't that hard to come by, I don't see why anyone would waste their time making a boot. It's just a horrid reprinted label, but I'm pretty confident you've got a legit cart there.

whaaa? I'm confused. What did you intend on buying? If you paid for a homecart you were scammed. If you wanted the MVS version the label doesn't mean shit. You have to open it up and look at the guts to tell if it's a boot or not..

I haven't bought anything yet. Someone on another forum is trying to sell it to me.

I've just not encountered something like this before - usually just straight AESs in a snapcase or MVSs in a boxed kit.

Either way I think the dude is asking too much, and I'll probably bail.
