Hello all.

I'm in need of an RGB cable for my lovely Super Nintendo (US-NTSC). I need an RGB cable that is well built (the hacked end going into the monitor needs to be well built; almost at a professional level). It needs to be sturdy and clean. I can buy an RGB cable already made, but I would like to know the pin-out first.

I'm looking for an RGB cable within the $20 to $40 range.

I have PayPal ready to go.

I would prefer to have a DB-9 Female connector at the end. I have a NEC XM29 monitor.

Are your cables the ones that came with the SNES? The ones that have the Yellow, Red, and White RCA male plugs at the end? The one Piratero is looking for is a custom made one with a db-9 (look at the sega controller's female plug) at the end of it where the Red, White, and Yellow plugs should be. These cables usually have a set of capacitors in them for US-NTSC.

I have that cable already. It's basically what I want to replace with a superior RGB cable.

Thanks for your interest, but I don't need a cable I already have and want to get rid of.

There's no point in just hacking one end and fit good connectors but keeping the rest of the original shitty cable that degrades the signal, has no shielding, low quality conductors, poor insulation and is soldered sloppily:

For a quality cable you need to replace the whole cable and add a SNES plug to it, which is what I'm about to do one of these days.

Good luck finding a modder (a good modder, I mean) that does that for you and for just $20. Or just content yourself with a run-of-the-mill cable like the one posted above.

Thanks for the tip. I'm willing to pay more now. I've realized that I was offering a very low price.
