There is absolutely no reason to buy that.

Buy a used good condition aes. Or a minty aes with mods.

...or better yet...buy a neo geo cab.

The hell? Don't get that, especially if you're gonna put it on 3 credit cards. There are cheaper ways to get an AES.

The guy who has been pedaling this "NEW" aes has been on ebay for a few months now with this unit. It had a buy it now price of around $2,000 about a month or so ago. I'd stay clear of it. I agree with the other members, just buy a minty aes or wait for Shawn at the neo-store to have another modded one and pick it up. Bottom line, 3 credit cards man?

$1500?? Are you mad? I seriously doubt it's even new. If I had to buy a brand new AES for $1500 I would buy at least a gold system that has a box that looks sexy not like a shipping box.

How again do we find the ignore list? I don't want to have to dig up SamShoSensei's link he posted in the suggestions forum.

You gotta be a big tymer to score something like that. If I bought that I wouldn't be able to afford any games for a couple years. And buyer's remorse would push me to off myself.. hahah.

"New" items which have a "never been powered on" sticker or the like smell 100% fishy. If the unit is dead, the seller can simply state that it apparently was DOA, since it never was powered on, and it is not his fault and just bad luck.

That's why you pay through Paypal. Even though you actually put as-is in your auction, the seller is still required to deliver a working unit unless it specifically says that the unit does not work.

If the seller knew the unit didn't work and was trying to get away with selling you a broken unit by saying it was new, he's clearly trying to rip you off to begin with. In such a case, his paypal account will be empty and no longer linked to his bank by the time you find out your system doesn't work.

I've lost hundreds of dollars through paypal being sold garbage only to have the person's account just disappear.
