Would this be a good MVS trade?

Been tossing this around in my mind.

I have a very nice condition Super Dodgeball US MVS Kit and I've been thinking of offering this up for trade for a loose Super Dodgeball MVS along with a Garou (JP or ENG) plus the english Garou mini marquee.

How would the values of those compare? I'm not actually sure what the Super Dodgeball Kit would be worth, haven't seen one come up for sale here.

Also I would have some concern that I'd risk getting a bootleg Super Dodgeball, how prevalent are they out there?

Any advice on this would be appreciated to help me decide if I want to do this and post in the selling forum.

thanks

If the seller has a great reputation, by all means it's your call. IMHO, if you have a full kit of Super Dodge Ball I would hold onto it and then get a loose cart before you trade. MOTW is easily attainable on here or through Southtown-Homebrew.com . Super Dodge Ball's a game that I wouldn't take a chance on. I would buy the game first then decide to part with the kit.

yeah, you make a good point ... and based on rarity I agree that the full kit would be foolish to give up for something far less rare. Where would this sit value wise?

Nothing less than 200 for a complete kit. Some people on here may have gotten it for cheaper. However, a bare cart with serials will run about $120-125.

Like I said before, buy a bare cart before you sell the kit.

yeah ok, thanks for the advice. seems like the trade in theory would add up to roughly the same values, but it's a risky one cause of boots and potentially foolish due to the rarity. This is all just cause I'm impatient and will need a bit of time to get the cash for a Garou with MM or Garou Kit... guess I'll start saving. :spock:

Was once a super rare cart, then the Neo Store got a bunch of brand new kits and sold them for something ridiculously low like $79. It didn't take long for them to sell out and the price has gradually gone back up. Great game, I'm glad I picked up my kit when I did.
