Yeah, I've gotten MVS cabs for less than that. For the most part in working condition, some easily fixable alterations.

What are you trying to find out MVS mobo, full cab, or NGH?

Working MVS mobo < 125 = yes all mobos purchased were way less then that so far.

Working Cab for < 125 = almost --> 2 cabs, a dynamo conversion neo cab for just a few dollars more and a MVS goldie needing work (but operational) for around that.

NGH < 125 = No, I never bought (or attempted to buy) a home system

Any MVS motherboard except 4 and 6 slot should be less than $125.

I know someone who got a working dedicated 4-slot cabinet for $50 at an auction today. Another guy I know got a working Blast City for $50 at the same auction. I knew I should have gone with them, heh.

I bought a 4-slot at an auction last year though for $125. It wasn't working, but after fixing a small wiring issue, it played great. I also bought a dedicated 6-slot recently from a friend for $125 or $150, I can't remember. It works, but it's in D+ shape.

I bought one in the classifieds shipped to my door for $100. I also bought a "broken" one on ebay for $50. Kurtz fixed it for $35. I paid more though and put some mods in it.

**edit**
both of them were AES's.

I bought my NGH gold system at a pawn shop for $20 in 2001 or so. Came with Magician Lord, 2 sticks, everything but the manual for the system and an AC adaptor. It's still the same system I use today.

yeap, what he said. In addition damn near all MVS bare cart minus a elite few and especially kits are WAY less than $125. I imagine you could only buy a 1 slot cab for $125 on a good day.

AES at this point in the game are crazy expensive

Have you ever bought a neo geo for $125 or less. And tell if it was in working condition.

One of my first AES systems came to me with two games for about $125-$150. That was back in 1994, when the addiction started.

14 years later, I still need rehab. :glee:

This is bad-ass:

If the "fun" has disappeared from the Neo Geo and its games, it CERTAINLY isn't SNK or Playmore's fault. It's the over-crazed fanbase that is trying so desperately to add some value to their shallow lives by adding unnecessary value to an item that is only intended to bring entertainment, not stature. Wake up and become part of the reconstruction... not the future demise.

Its probably been there for 5 years, but I just noticed it.

Good job Curt.

I got an AES from Japan on ebay for about $100 including shipping a couple years ago. It didn't come with any controllers.

Better start spamming (in the sales forum - best place, really).
