Hello everyone..I know Im still newish here, and I wanted to share my first cab with everyone....its been a long time coming and I am finally making some progress on it....I finally got my cab about 3 weeks ago i guess, and when I got it I wouldnt say it was in bad condition, but definately rough around the edges.....so here is a pic of early progress...keep in mind that this is already after i have started working on it...when i first got it it had two holes in the front by the coin door for the cables b/c it was set up as a shooter....the control panel was just black plexi with two holsters sticking out of it....I made the control panel out of white oak, and it is just temporary b/c i HATE the button layout(yeah Im dumb)

I also had to replace the light fixture b/c the starter was out on that one and I also wanted a bigger light:buttrock:...and I made a custom marquee, those things are hard to come by.....and after a little paint and TLC here is what i have now

I still have a long ways to go, just wanted to share what I have so far.....
ps.....if anyone is looking for some holsters i would gladly trade them for any mvs cart that I dont already have(as long as its not a boot)

Wicked yo. The Dynamo is the best of the wood cabs IMO. I always liked the ease of access to the PCB.

I have to agree on ease of access.....but not when I jammed that massive 4 slot board in there......it takes up like the WHOLE slide out tray

but I am seriously enjoying my cab...I dont hardly play my consoles anymore....and I think I might be turning into a CART-HEAD......I dont value anything by its face value anymore, but by how many carts I could get with it:lolz:

I never have just plain old $20 anymore......now thats the equivalent to like 2/3 of a cart......I think I have invented a whole new monetary system

its the revolution......the Neocartarian money system

There are many great JAMMA boards to be had too, aside from the Neo Geo. I mounted a $10 PCB holder in my old Dynamo for easy PCB swapping. Hopefully you can meet up with us on the 5th and check out a few.

I love Dynamo cabs! Great work so far! All you need is some serious art and man you're all set!

Not a big fan of the buton layout, but is just a matter of prefference so congrats are in order.

the button layout is definately in line to be redone....and I have an idea for the next control panel that I think is going to look pretty good....I love working on this thing, its actually very relaxing and great for my stress level;)
