Im thinking of parting company with my consolized 2 slot as I just dont get the time to use it nowadays.

Originaly purchased from KPG for one arm and one leg, this is one of his Cobalt Blue systems. I have had many many enjoyable hours from this unit and would be sad to see it go.

I have made one / two modifications to the unit since purchased. They are the addition of two credit buttons to the front of the unit. I wanted a true arcade feel from the unit and found that these buttons helped - a little anal maybe but so what !!

Unfortunately by adding these buttons the paintwork became a little chipped. There are small chips to other areas too but nothing too detrimental. I dont think the paint job was the best to begin with but there ya go.

All hook-ups would be included in sale.

Now on ebay here

Multi slots play X number of MVS games. In this case, 2 different games can be selected.

How did you manage to take off so much paint from just drilling a couple of holes? :conf:

The paint used has not adhered to the unit very well at all. I think its some sort of powder coating and it just flakes off / chips easily.

In his other listings.

At Bogsie
Man your postage is well expensive, DHL will pick that up and deliver it for £7.26 (www.parcel2go.com) and Parcel Force is only going to charge £9.84. This extreme postage cost might be putting buyers off, plus have you considered having the paint job sorted? I know a place that will chrome it for around £50 + Postage, if you did that you'd get asking price with the current market.

Just trying to help.

UK Postage price ammended + a couple of pounds for materials. I believe that the worldwide rate is about right - unit weighs about 3kg packed.

I just want the unit to sell so dont want to spend time chroming, repainting etc.

Not sure what price you have for Worldwide Shipping, but I do know they ship worldwide for £17+ VAT upto 25KG's I believe it was.

Shame you do fancy improving the paint job, you may not get current asking price without it looking half decent.

Also, if anyone here wants the 2 slot you can knock another £12 off the price if you will deal outisde of ebay, that way I dont get hit with a final value fee. The postage will be done at actual cost as well. Not sure what that will be, it depends on location of course.

Change of mind - help wanted !

Right, probably not the best idea to continue this old thread but there is relevant info within it.

Having not sold my 2 slot I have been considering doing something to sort out the paint job of the system.

People have suggested chroming which sounds cool and I also have been considering having the system metal-sprayed - something that I think would be very unique, hard wearing and I can have done for nothing by the company I work for !

Now my problem is taking the system apart. KPJ has used a silicon type substance to coat all of the connections he has made within the system and without removing this I am unable to remove most of the connectors.

Does anyone have any solutions for this ? The connections appear to be soldered and siliconed.

I think it would be quite a job to remove both of these and I also have my doubts about reconnecting everything once the shell is coated as all the wires he used are grey.

Would I be taking on too much ? any help appreciated
