Metal Slug MVS

I got a MS MVS for my birhtday and I noticed that the boards in it were loose and upon further inspection found that the origional sticker was replaced with a MS2 sticker and the 2 was scratched off? I am really interested in knowing why this is any info would be helpful prefferabl in depth info.

someone smashed the ms cart and replased it with another and only had a ms2 sticker to use ..
