Just picked up a ST-V board with Diehard Arcade so I am looking into getting other carts for it. I was looking at the know releases at system16.com and a few caught my eye but I am not sure which ones to get first. Price is somewhat of a factor as I would like to keep things "cost effective". Are there any decent games that can fall under that category? (Besides Radiant Silvergun)

The only games I would possibly play in that bunch are virtua figter kids, the wrestling game, and puyo puyo. Thanks though.

I have been collecting ST-V carts for a fair few months and struggle to track down carts. From the carts I own I would recommend Hanagumi Taisen Columns (sakura wars)

I have been trying to track down Pebble Beach Golf and Tecmo World Cup 98 for a while cant find any shops on line.

Hope you can track down games and enjoy the ST-V games as much as I do.:)

I have to admit, I have been considering de3gerateskate's bundle for sale. It is just a matter of coming up with the extra cash.

No offense to de3gerateskate. Unless you are a die-hard ST-V collector, some of the games will be collecting dust on the shelf.

TAISEN TANTO-R and WINTER HEAT can be purchased from yaton for $24 shipped. Some other games like Decathlete can be purchased at a reasonable price as well.

Not too die-hard of a collector. The only reason I even have an ST-V board is I got a screaming deal at a local distributor. I rarely buy arcade stuff online as most of the prices are beyond what I want to pay, with the exception of the occasional MVS cart. Sadly arcade collecting is not for the "frugal" person, but I never seem to learn my lesson. I just do my own tech work to keep costs lower.

Also regarding Radiant Silvergun, seeing as how the saturn and st-v cart version are both up there in price... which version would be better to get ?

Saturn version is considered "better" by some people because the Arcade mode has everything you can do in the arcade, and it also has extras.

I've only played the Saturn version so I can't speak to the differences unfortunately.

I havent even played RS yet still waiting. I usually prefer most coin op versions of games and i do know that If you play RS on a ST-V motherboard that has a US bios the game only uses 2 buttons not 3 like on the JAP Bios. which I would imagine would limit some of the shooting/power up options.

Well done sir! Quite a few seldom seen carts there.

Say, how do you like Purikura Daisakusen? I've been eying the last couple copies that went on ebay.

Thanks..I'm pretty proud of Mausuke no Ojama: The World which I've never seen anywhere outside of the one ebay auction I snagged it from.

Purikura Daisakusen is a pretty solid shooter. Unique in the fact that is isometric and if you like the Power Instinct games, is probably worth picking up since its a spin-off. Of course the isometric angle is a little weird for shooters IMO, and I'm not very good at shooters to begin with so ymmv.

Hmmm, I just went and checked Mausuke no Ojama at system16.com, other than being rare is it a good game?

Thanks for the little writeup on Purikura Daisakusen, I am a fan of the Power Instinct series so I'll keep an eye out.

I'll be honest...I don't understand the rules of Mausuke no Ojama. It's a Puzzle game in the Puyo Puyo sense, but the logic for clearing rows is very weird. It seems to involve getting blobs to connect via diagonals, but I can't be entirely sure.

I sold all of my st-v stuff a long time ago. Overall, my favorite games were Terra Diver, Groove on Fight, and puyo puyo sun. Final Fight Revenge was fun and I enjoyed the princess whatever game too. The dragon fighting one on the other hand, was a bit weak, imo.
