It's a pretty uncommon cab. The same cab was used by atari for Rolling Thunder. It's a steal at that price.

Yep. Atari Games made a dedicated 2 player Gauntlet 2 (used to have one for a bit in one of my old game room). Its purpose was to have what was then a popular game being able to be set up in locations that didn't hve the room or space for a full 4 player version (which was a retrofit for the original Gauntlet). Since in the second version you can choose whatever character you wanted, it was a good idea and as twalden noted, it's the same cabinet design as Rolling Thunder. IIRC the PCB in the game is the same as the 4 player version minus the player 3 and 4 wiring so you can transfer it to a 4 player cabinet with the additional wiring.

For $200 that's a great price. If that was near me, I'd pick it up in an instant.

Not a good conversation piece to me per se....

The lobster tank will blow the mind of anybody who comes into my home...

The two player gauntlet will be just another cab.

Very nice cab, and the monitor looks to be in pretty good shape. Gauntlet is a game I really wouldn't mind adding to the collection. I wish that was a bit closer to home.
