Yesterday, I tried out my CDZ and it wouldn't power up. So I figured it had to be the power supply. I opened it up (which is easy with a gamebit, so no cracking it open) and it turned out the circuit board had cracks in it cutting off traces. Must have been dropped.
I fixed this, by drowning the closer pins in solder, but the pins that had more than 1cm I used wire to connect. This is all on the 110V part of the adapter. The wire I used is 22AWG 300V. Is this safe enough to not short or burn up the adapter?
