A few new cabs

Last week I scored a few cabs from a local company that hired an online auction site to sell off excess equipment. First up, a dedicated Lethal Enforcers. It's missing both guns, the holsters, and the player 1 start button. Luckily I have the guns for it and found the holsters for $20 on e-Bay. Currently I cannot get the guns to register hits. I almost had this one for $20 until a local op drove the price up to $80 in the last minute.

Next up is a dedicated Saturday Night Slam Masters. I've seen pics of a 4 player version with 2 monitors that looks like a Run N Gun or Nintendo VS. This one has a tag on the back from Dynamo stating it's a Slam Masters standard serial #80. This one's complete and it pretty good shape overall. The monitor works, but the pcb is DOA thanks to the suicide batteries. I snagged this one for $55.

if you up the brightness/contrast on the monitor and the guns still wont register a shot try opening them up and give the contacts in the handle a good cleaning

Any other good cabs at the auction?

I went to the super auction in detroit about 2 months ago and it was all junk cabs that sold for top dollar.

Thanks for the tip, voodoodoctorx. I was thinking of taking the guns apart to clean them just to be sure. The funny thing is, both guns and the pcb work fine on my supergun set-up. I honestly can't imagine why the monitor would be the problem because it's got a nice picture. I'm ordering a new power supply and this may even solve the problem. I can't seem to get a solid +5 as measured at the guns. It's jumping around a little bit so I thought I might as well replace it to be safe. I've had someone tell me they get the guns to work when the voltage is between 5.2 and 5.3. I feel pretty confident once I put a new PS in, I'll get something.

DegenerateSkate: This was actually an online auction but with items picked up in person. I wasn't able to go to the site to preview anything beforehand, but was pleased with both cabs when I picked them up. There were a number of large sit-down games such as Prop Cycle but I can't recall what they went for. I had my eye on some test equipment, but that went higher than I thought it would. There were some good buys, but other things I kinda scratched my head on. For anyone who wants to see what was there.
