Anyone else get this e-mail from Welink? Looks like the CPS2 boot market is about to really take off. I hope they are not sac'ing real boards to do this :oh_no:

Not sure what hardware is running inside, but if nothing else, it looks as if the original cases are being sac'ed

Whats the point, if your going to go this way, might as well just buy one of their mullti game pc box gimmicks. Who the heck would buy this multi cps 2 abominations, surely not collectors so I'm not threaten.

I wonder whats under the hood of that B board though. If I wanted I can built a two in one but not a 18

Do those multigame boxes or 1xxx in 1 PCBs work with all of the additional options such as 4 players, kick harnesses, etc? The games probably run better on (what I assume is) native hardware, and I bet this is suicide free for those that don't know about phoenixing.

Do you think running 18 games in one setup is native within design perimeters, their nothing stock about this thing, which leave room for bugs. Cps 2 is not MVS, it was not designed to allow cycling through games, so if its capcom boards are under the hood some software method would have to be used to cycle through the games, which is out of reason for the stock hardware to handle. We don't know for sure even if this thing is using the cps 2 hardware, all is show is the case. I just don't see how the hell they could have fitted 18 games on there given the storage limit of the hardware or found the physical space in the shell to allow cramming shit loads of eproms/flash roms in the shell. I guessing the 18 games offered use the same pal and jumper setting if this thing is running on stock hardware. Its almost like recreating the wheel. Another shot in the dark is it could be a micro atx. Looking at the picture the A board has wires coming out of where the kick harness is so it modified too. I wonder if you asked these guy about this would they be straight with us.

And the multi box do allow for jamma+, their just pc

Not at all, but a modification of original hardware (I'm assuming, as I said) is much closer to the real deal than those 1xxx in 1 boards as far as I (don't) know.

Pfft. Do you think they're running that much hardware in there? :spock::spock::spock: Can you imagine what the fans would sound like. :p;):glee:

I would totally agree with you if it was turning 1 game into another 1 game, but 18 in 1 is buggy variable.

Like I said I want to see whats under the hood.

I'd love to see under the hood too - perhaps it's FLASH or a small hard drive?

Besides the fact they are butchering real hardware to do this, it would be interesting to see how they did it.

Remember those Floppy drives for the NES/Snes?

Could be something like that... Being run from a flash drive.

How much will they be asking for the 18-1? I wonder how the actual games will play compared to the orignal counterpart?

Who would buy that shit. You might as well run MAME on a PC and put it in your cab. We all know how quality chinese bootlegs are.

At this point, just get a mame cab.

You aren't fooling anyone.

Surely if you already have a cab wired for JAMMA, then this is much easier for you than mame.

I expect I'll get bored one day and order one of these.

I tell ya man, if it is a front end with a flash drive, it might play very very well...

Did anyone notice it includes Hyper Street Fighter: The Anniversary? Isn't that the remake they released on the PS2 and Xbox a few years back?

Yes. There's also a (very rare and expensive) CPS-2 version.
