Noisy picture with Vasara

I just got a Vasara PCB yesterday. So far I am having fun it. My only real problem is the picture seems to have some dot crawl and wavy lines. On some levels you can't really notice it, on others it can stand out. It sort of reminds me of how a stock neo-geo home system would output. Only not as bad.
I haven't had this problem with any of my other games so I think it could be the PCB itself.

Has anyone run into a problem like this with their games before?

could be the hardware. my Vasara 2 board sometimes generates wavy lines. It doesn't detract from the game though. is what you are describing look like a moving sine wave that travels around the screen?

I'm not really sure. I think its more random and fragmented then just one wave going across the screen. The wavy lines more or less appear to stay in the same spots and only fluctuate a little. It is more noticeable when the brightness is turned up.
I think I noticed a little noise when I was playing my SFZ2A board today so it could be my monitor. Granted it was nothing compared to what Vasara displays.
I was messing with the brightness pot in the back of the chassis a week or so ago and I may have set it a little too high. Just something more to screw around with I suppose.
I guess I will just have to accept it. It's just a little disappointing to have a not so clean picture with the real hardware compared to when I boot it up in mame is all
