i wish i could figure out how to get dark legacy working on my blitz/showtime. but no one knows anything about the vegas hardware.

i need a new videocard too i think. whered you find the new card for your hydro thunder? did they have any other midway parts?

I got lucky as hell. After it was posted on here about the manual.... and it showing that three beeps is the video card, I did a little hunting. Looked up in a news group search which brand video card was used, then typed THAT into google. I got lucky that it pulled up an ebay auction. The pic in the auction and that of my vid card were the very same. Again, I got lucky.

Wish I could help you, man. I haven't had to do any repairs/replacements on my showtime/blitz cab to be too familiar with it.... yet.

was the card in yours just an off the shelf pc part?

i know the vegas uses a voodoo 2 or banshee, but i dont know if a pc one would work. it is in a pci slot, but it might have special firmware or something.

No. Mine was specific for arcades.... doesn't have the metal back part that you'd normally see. It's a modified Vodoo card. This one's stronger than the showtime cab. You have to keep in mind this IS a computer in there... it's the craziest thing you'll ever see in an arcade machine. Big ass computer.
