If you just want to play imports is better to buy an adaptor, a cartridge that plugs in the Saturn's slot that allows you to play imports.

You can make internal mods, try here: <a href="http://www.gamesx.com/index2.htm" target="_blank">http://www.gamesx.com/index2.htm</a>

But they are only worth it if you live in Europe and want 60 Hz instead of the 50 hz standar here.

Well, there are a lot of different kinds, some of them have extra features other than playing imports, such a back-up memory, cheats, RAM, etc... Depending on the model and specifications the price should vary between 10-30$US. You could find them in any videogame store that still carries Saturn stuff, or you can try ebay or on-line stores like this: <a href="http://www.lik-sang.com/list.php?category=67&" target="_blank">http://www.lik-sang.com/list.php?category=67&</a>

Good luck.

you can, use an action replay card or hardwire the saturn to run different region disks.

You can mod it by putting a switch on it and you can find how to do that at <a href="http://www.gamesx.com" target="_blank">www.gamesx.com</a> but if you don't like the idea of drilling a small hole in your saturn's case, putting a small switch on the back and soldering to a few soldering points then I would get an action replay. I have one and its great. I would recommend getting an action replay.

It does kick ass, but, you run into problems when playing RAM card games. It's been a few years since I used an action replay (I got 2 saturns now, one JAP and one US) but I think it comes with 4megs of RAM. Older games that use less than 4 (kof95-97 being some) will have problems displaying.

Hi,

i did the mod about one hour ago. Easy one. The most difficult is to open the Saturn ;)
