On gamesx they say that it isnt possible. You can play Jap carts on an US machine but not on an PAL machine. I am confused.. can you explain, because if it really works I am going to mod my SNES .

I strongly advise against desoldering the pins...they're too small and close to each other, you risk to mess things up if you use the iron. I simply pull them out with a hook-shaped needle...easy as pie.
