Busted up 4 slot Neo Geo

I purchased a Neo cab that was nearly falling apart. The side panels, marquee, and roof of the cab were barely hanging on. I took it all apart and reattached all of it. After I put it all back together, the marquee won't light up. It did before I worked on it. There's a green ground wire coming off the monitor chassis that looks like it connects to the marquee somewhere. Can someone confirm this? Thanks!

Is the panel fluorescent? Check the starter.
