Endust for Electronics: Good for monitors and Glass?

I can't tell you the amount of machines I've seen that say to clean the monitors and glass with anti-static cleaners only. Well I haven't been able to find any. Ever. But my local hardware store handed me a can of Endust for Electronics, which says that it's anti-static and good for monitors (it states it's also good for new flat monitors so I'm guessing this means it does the old ones too). The problem, though, is this: it's Endust. It's not Windex, or any other liquid based cleaner, it's Endust. So I'm worried using it might do something it shouldn't.

Has anyone else had any experience with this? I know most people just use regular Windex anyway but I don't mind going the extra mile.

Thanks in advance,
Shmenge

Hmm endust eh? Never used it.

I just use the new (white label) Nothing as a "general" cleaner.

I even use it to clean out potentiometers, solenoids and switches that have had soda/booze spilled on them. lol

Never had any problems, even on plexi (don't use the old blue label Nothing on plexi).

Although for plexi Novus 1-3 depending on the state of the plexi, works well.

When cleaning stuff such as floorboards and cabs I use TechKleen.

If your worried about dust accumulation, get the anti static/dust rags. Although its always best (although not always realistic) to eliminate dust from its source.

If you have the money it does not hurt to run an air filter or two where you keep your games. Granted the filters start to add up when being replaced.

I don't know exactly where you can order these items as I order them through my job. I guess you could check out Happ and other distributors.

I clean my games and cpu's (and the games at my job) almost every day. With a nice in depth (inside and out) clean every month or 2.

The most common failure point on a board, is a short from dust. So its always a good idea to keep the internals clean.

A little offtopic, but just a general post on how "I" clean my games. I would defo shoot for the anti dust rags over a cleaning solution that I have to replace more often.
